Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or using Detail Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you use Detail Portal on behalf of a business, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that business and confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use Detail Portal.

Description of Detail Portal

Detail Portal is online booking software for mobile auto-detailing businesses. It lets a business publish a booking page where customers choose services, add-ons, a vehicle, and an available time, and it gives the business a dashboard to manage its services, add-ons, hours, booking settings, and bookings. Detail Portal works as a standalone scheduling and booking calendar: it determines availability from the business’s hours, booking settings, and existing Detail Portal bookings, and it stores and manages appointments itself. Businesses can optionally connect Google Calendar to also block times that are busy on their Google Calendar and to add new bookings to it, and can optionally connect Stripe to accept payments from their customers.

Eligibility and business use

Detail Portal is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You may use Detail Portal only for a lawful business and in compliance with all laws that apply to you.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@detailportal.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. You are responsible for the content of your booking page, including your services, prices, and business details.

Subscription plans

Detail Portal currently offers two monthly plans:

• Detail Portal — $49 per month: online booking for your detailing business.
• Detail Portal + Website — $97 per month: everything in Detail Portal plus a matching website for your business.

Plan features are described on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes unless stated. We may change prices or plan features in the future; we will give you advance notice of any price change, and it will apply from your next billing period after the notice.

Recurring billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing period through Stripe, our payment processor. Your payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by Detail Portal.

If a payment fails, your subscription may become past due, and your dashboard and booking page may be unavailable until payment is completed. You can update your payment method through the Stripe billing portal linked from the Billing page of your dashboard.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page of your dashboard or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your subscription and services remain active through the end of the current paid billing period, after which your dashboard and booking page stop being available. Canceling does not delete your account data; see our Privacy Policy to request deletion.

Refund policy

Subscription payments are non-refundable, because setup and customization work begins immediately after purchase. Canceling prevents future recurring charges but does not refund payments already processed, including for any unused portion of a billing period. This does not limit any refund rights you may have under applicable law.

Google Calendar integration

Connecting Google Calendar is optional and is not required to use Detail Portal or to accept bookings. Without it, customers can still book appointments, availability is still based on your business hours and existing Detail Portal bookings, and appointments are still stored and managed in Detail Portal. If you choose to connect it, you authorize Detail Portal’s access through Google’s OAuth consent screen, and Detail Portal uses that access only as described in the Google user data section of our Privacy Policy: to list your calendars so you can choose one, to check busy times on the selected calendar, and to add new bookings to it.

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Calendar page of your dashboard, and you can revoke access from your Google Account. After you disconnect, your booking page keeps accepting bookings based on your business hours and existing Detail Portal bookings, but it no longer checks Google Calendar for busy times or adds new appointments to Google Calendar.

The Google Calendar integration depends on Google’s APIs, which Google may change, limit, or discontinue. Your use of Google services is subject to Google’s own terms and policies. Detail Portal is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.

Third-party services

Detail Portal relies on third-party services, including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Google (Google Calendar and fonts). Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

If you connect a Stripe account to accept payments from your customers, that account is subject to Stripe’s terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. You are the merchant for those payments and are responsible for your pricing, refunds to your customers, taxes, and disputes. Detail Portal is not a party to transactions between you and your customers.

Customer data and booking information

Customers who book with you provide information such as their name, phone number, email address, service address, vehicle details, and notes. As between you and Detail Portal, you are responsible for how you use your customers’ information, for giving your customers any notices your business is required to give, and for complying with laws that apply to your business, including privacy and marketing laws.

Detail Portal stores and processes customer booking information to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you connect Google Calendar, booking details are copied into the calendar you select.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Detail Portal for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading, including posting false business information or prices;
• collect customer information through Detail Portal for purposes unrelated to their bookings without their consent;
• upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is harmful, infringing, or offensive;
• interfere with or disrupt Detail Portal, attempt to access another business’s data, or bypass security or usage limits;
• scrape, copy, resell, or reverse engineer Detail Portal except as permitted by law; or
• use Detail Portal to send spam or unsolicited messages.

Intellectual property

Detail Portal, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Detail Portal and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Detail Portal for your business while your subscription is active. You keep ownership of the content you provide, such as your logo, business details, and services, and you grant us permission to host, display, and process it as needed to operate Detail Portal and your booking page. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

Service availability

We work to keep Detail Portal available and reliable, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, including outages at our hosting, database, payment, or calendar providers. We may change, add, or remove features over time.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Detail Portal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that Detail Portal will be uninterrupted or error-free, that availability shown on booking pages will always match your calendar, or that it will produce any particular business result. You remain responsible for confirming your appointments and schedule.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Detail Portal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of Detail Portal. Our total liability for any claim related to Detail Portal is limited to the amount you paid us for Detail Portal in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Detail Portal from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your business, your services to your customers, your content, your use of customer information, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

Termination

You may stop using Detail Portal and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use Detail Portal in a way that could harm other users, your customers, or Detail Portal. Where reasonable, we will notify you first. When your access ends, your booking page stops accepting bookings. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email or through Detail Portal before they take effect. Continuing to use Detail Portal after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Detail Portal is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or Detail Portal will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
